  5. Thanks everyone for your concerned comments!

It seems that Severn Suzuki made this speech in 1992. Now it's 2011. Has those bloody top Governments and wealthy businessmen listened to her? It seems she has spoken to a brick wall.

Here is a comment I found in You Tube.

//Wow ... What insight . Too bad all the people who clapped after her speech will move on to the next agenda and forget about her by the time they are eating thier wonderful supper at a fancy banquet paid for with tax dollars ...//

  6. Here are some facts about Severn Suzuki, found in You Tube.

//Raised in Vancouver and Toronto, Severn Cullis-Suzuki has been camping and hiking all her life. When she was 9 she started the Environmental Children's Organization (ECO), a small group of children committed to learning and teaching other kids about environmental issues. They were successful in many projects before 1992, when they raised enough money to go to the UN's Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Their aim was to remind the decision-makers of who their actions or inactions would ultimately affect. The goal was reached when 12 yr old Severn closed a Plenary Session with a powerful speech that received a standing ovation.//

  11. Thank u all for your concerned comments.
Let's try to do something to save our mother Earth!
May be as individuals we all can at least teach our children the value of nature. Not to mishandle it ever because it's children who become adults and later destroy or protect.
